Hydrogeology Division

Marc Spratt
Marc Spratt CGWP, PH, CPG (SeniorHydrogeologist), RLK Hydro’s Founding member, received his undergraduate and graduate training from the University of Montana in Missoula. In addition to his post-secondary education, he has received and continues to renew his 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Training. Spratt has worked on environmental projects since 1980 and water quality/quantity management since 1974. His experience ranges from water extraction well design to injection (rapid infiltration basins). Projects have varied from residential to large industrial scales. He has managed the rehabilitation of an entire stream and numerous ponds with an emphasis on re-establishing natural conditions. He has helped design passive and active dewatering systems, well fields, dams, ponds, urban stormwater collection and treatment systems, and experimental wastewater treatment systems.


Randall Overton Randall J. Overton (Senior Hydrogeologist) holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Hydrology from the University of Montana. Mr. Overton brings over 30 years of national experience in designing, managing and implementing complex multidisciplinary projects, ranging from hydrogeologic and geologic services to site assessments,hydrogeologic investigations, remediation, expert witness and litigation support.



Laith Jones Laith Jones (Geohydrologist) holds a Bachelor of Science in Geohydrology from Montana State University.


Engineering Services Division


Greg Davis, PE

Greg Davis PE (Director of Engineering) received a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering with an emphasis on hydrogeology from Montana Tech.  His groundwater experience includes time with the Geohydrology Section of the Kansas Geological Survey where he worked with James Butler, Jr.  Research there included investigation of aquifer heterogeneity utilizing tomographic pumping tests.  Mr. Davis returned to his hometown of Kalispell in 2003 to join RLK Hydro.  Since then he has worked on a wide variety of projects involving well testing and analysis, water rights, slope stability, stormwater and groundwater drainage, floodplain and groundwater flow modeling, and septic system/drainfield design.  Mr. Davis is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Montana.

Dan M. Leatzow
Dan M. Leatzow PhD, PE (Sr. Engineer) received his undergraduate education from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and continued his training at Washington State University leading to a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.  Dr. Leatzow has extensive experience in system design and development; with hands-on experience in acid mine drainage treatment, chemical and biological separations, as well as assay development and testing.  He joined RLK Hydro, Inc. in 2007 upon return to the Flathead Valley after an 18 year absence.  Dr. Leatzow is licensed to provide engineering services in the State of Montana.


Mikel Siemens EI (Staff Environmental Engineer) attended Montana Tech and received a B.S. in Environmental Engineering.  She has been a certified Engineering Intern in the State of Montana since October 2006.  Ms. Siemens has experience with wetland delineations, designing and conducting pump tests, preparation of water rights applications, and analysis of stormwater run-off management.  Ms. Siemens has completed and continues to refresh her HAZWOPR certification.  Ms. Siemens was an intern with RLK Hydro in the Summer 2006 and became full-time staff in December 2006.


Digital Graphic and Geographic Information System Services

Linda Broscheit
Linda Broscheit (Computer Aided Design, Graphics, Surveying) received her Associate of Applied Science from Spokane Valley Community College in 1994.  In addition to formal education, Ms. Broscheit has an extensive history in rural and public water and sewer system design, topographic surveying, verification of land transfers and plat accuracy, as well as reviewing certificates of surveys and real estate chain of title.

Dixie Holmes
Dixie Holmes (Financial Professional) manages the financial records for the firm and attends to all facets of Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, and Payroll.  Ms. Holmes is familiar with the hydrology industry, serving as a financial professional at Liberty Drilling in Kalispell, MT for 5 years.
